Search Tips

When searching on the title, the search results can be improved by using the wildcard character '%'.

  • A search for "%Audit Act%" returns all papers that have the words "Audit Act" in the title
  • A search for "Audit Act%" returns all papers that have a title beginning with the words "Audit Act"
  • A search for "%Audit Act" returns all papers that have a title ending with the words "Audit Act"
  • A search for "%Audit%Act%" returns papers that have the words "Audit Act" in the title or the words "Audit" and "Act" separated by another word, eg. Audit Administration Act

Search Results

The Hit List page lists 20 hits per page that satisfy the search criterion. The search results list is limited to displaying a maximum of 2000 hits. Search results are improved by narrowing the search using more detailed search criteria.

You can use the "Search Results Navigation" buttons at the bottom of the page to scroll through the hit list pages, or go directly to a page, or go directly to the first/last hit list page.

To view a tabled paper, click on the title. This will open a new window where the tabled paper is displayed in PDF. By default the document is viewed five pages at a time (i.e. pages 1-5; 6-10 etc.). Use the document navigation pane in the bottom left corner of the window to scroll through pages.

Whole documents can be downloaded by entering the total page range in the fields in the document navigation pane. The drop-down menu displays the total number of pages. For example, to download a 50 page document enter "1" in the first page field and "50" in the second page field and then click view. Downloading whole documents may take longer (30 to 60 seconds in some instances) even with a fast broadband connection. If it is taking too long or a timeout error is experienced, try reducing the page range until the problem is resolved.

Documents can also be viewed as JPEG images by selecting the document type from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.

To perform a new search select the "Click here for a new search" button.

Going back

To refine your existing search, click on the "Click here for a new search" link and start a new search. Wherever possible, it is recommended that you use navigation buttons provided within the web pages, rather than the 'Back' and 'Forward' buttons available within your browser.
